A Banjo Makes Three- In the magical world of Old Growth Redwoods and the legendary BigFoot, A Banjo Makes 3 was born. Evolving from a trio, they grew to a full 5-piece band in Humboldt County. An upright bass, banjo, fiddle, mandolin and guitar joined forces with one mission: keeping traditional bluegrass alive on the Lost Coast of California. A Banjo Makes 3 has become known for their lonesome vocal harmonies, hard-driving flat picking and high-energy, kick-your-ass-into-high-gear performances. Influenced by legends like Bill Monroe, Earl Scruggs, Doc Watson, Ralph Stanley and Jimmy Martin, A Banjo Makes 3 thrives to capture the authenticity and heart of true bluegrass.

Compost Mountain Boys- Since 1991, the Compost Mountain Boys have been a cornerstone of Humboldt County's bluegrass scene, delivering authentic and dynamic performances that blend traditional bluegrass with their unique flair. Their music resonates with the rich cultural tapestry of the redwoods, captivating audiences with every note.

Hobohemia- Hobohemia is a dynamic ensemble featuring members from the Absynth Quintet, Canary and the Vamp, and Cuckoo's Nest. With Rob Diggins and Jolianne Einem on violins, Ryan Roberts on guitar, Beverly Twist on guitar and vocals as well as Amanda Malachesky on mandolin and John Ludington on bass. They craft lively performances rooted in traditional jazz supported by vibrant string melodies. The band delivers rich vocal harmonies and compelling energetic improvisations, taking audiences on a journey through vintage styles with a fresh, dynamic twist. Hobohemia creates a timeless, eclectic sound that captivates and transports the listener somewhere exotic yet strangely familiar.
