This dance took place on Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Arcata, CA Veterans Memorial Building during the Humboldt Folklife Festival. The Striped Pig Stringband plays hard-driving, old-time stringband music in the traditional way. Fiddle, Banjo, Guitar, and Bass. They play monthly barn dances hosted by Humboldt Folklife Society in Arcata, CA.

Barn Dance:  a fun, community-oriented folk dance and social for all ages (unless otherwise noted),  genders,  ethnicities,  and abilities,  non-dancers and dancers alike.  A caller teaches each dance beforehand and calls instructions during each dance, with a live band.
